Pilates InstructorFrom the start I have always been an active person. Softball, Volleyball, Basketball, Golf, Track & Field, Gymnastics, Ballet… there is very little I haven’t tried. In college I took classes in self-defense, yoga, weight training and weight training for women. Since being introduced to the world of lifting I have participated in seminars where I’ve gotten the opportunity to work one-on-one with athletes like Ed Coan. Health, nutrition and physical fitness are things that are extremely interesting to me. The human body and its capacity to perform, when we take care of it, endlessly fascinate me and boggle my mind. In 2016 I was diagnosed with a severely herniated C6/C7 with bulges in the discs above and below. Since then I have opted for less invasive and more holistic methods of healing. You are only as old as your spine after all. Through the wonderful world of Pilates I hope to positively impact the people I get the privilege to train. I have a wealth of knowledge from across many fields, my own life experiences and years of physical therapy. These are the things that will be reflected in my classes and I can’t wait to change lives. Other than health, fitness and Pilates, my passions also include all things art. I have a BFA and my house is littered with paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints and many other creations. I am mildly obsessed with the Aerial arts. I’ve taken classes in Aerial Silks and the Lyra and have pursued the Yoga Hammock on my own. In my free time I sometimes model as another form of creative expression.
